General Questions:

How long will the entire process take?

Typically it takes roughly 2 weeks for your website to come to life from start to finish. However, it depends on how busy we are so it could be 3 or 4 as well.
What do I need to provide?

Payment, our completed questionaire, and answers to any other questions we may have relating to your site. That's it!
How are Lump Sum payments handled? How do I not get scammed?

We understand the concern, that's why we do 50/50 splits before and after. A lot of projects need upfront funding and splitting the payments allows that, while keeping it fair for everyone. You are also protected by the contract that must be signed.
Why is the monthly service domain name negotiable?

A domain name is like a phone number and we are simply not comfortable owning that for you. However, if you insist, we can go over all the risks pertaining to both of us and own it for you at a yearly premium.

How are your prices way cheaper than alternatives such as Webstacks?

It's simple, coorperate greed. We simply charge what we are worth rather than upselling because people will keep coming back.
Will you ever increase your prices?

To be honest, yes. That is just how supply and demand works. We will never expand beyond affordability. However, when you sign up for the monthly plan you keep paying what you signed up for forever.
What if your prices drop lower than what I am paying?

As much as we would want to adjust your prices back down a few dollars, this simply complicates the contracts and invoices at the moment.
Are there any hidden fees?

Nope! Our prices on the prices page are exactly what we charge.
What happens when my 6 month contract ends on the subscription plan?

The time constraint on your contract simply ends. This means you can keep paying each month, or cancel at any time you want. However, you must notify us with formal notice of the cancellation, you are still responsible for any fees associated with assumed cancellations.
What do I own?

With the monthly plan you own a license to use and claim your hosted website as your businesses website. With the lump sum you own everything, code and all, no license restrictions.

Can I purchase individual addons?

Yes! If you have the source code for your site, we can edit it for you based upon our Lump Sum addon prices. However, we will have to make sure we can work with the code before charging and beginning the work.
Can you further develop my Wix, Wordpress, or Squarespace site?

No, if your site is not already built with some form of actual code then we cannot update it for you.
What is a static site?

A static site is just informational and everyone sees the same pages. There are no login pages, dashboards, etc. You can learn more about it on our Web Development page.
Can I update my website once it is live?

For monthly clients you can't edit your source code, but included in the subscription is plenty of editing through us. For lump sum, you can do whatever you want, you own everything. But if you want us to do the edits for you, you must pay our hourly rate to edit your code.
Can I have someone else update my site once it is live?

For monthly clients this is a direct breach of contract. For Lump sum you can do whatever you want with your code. However, you have already assumably worked with us and achieved proven results, so we recommend coming back!
How long will my website take to develop?

About a week, but it depends on how much work we have going on, so it could take two.

Do you have an in-house designer?

Sadly we do not as of yet. We outsource the design of your home page to professional designers. Then we utilize templates, personal designs, and our library components to flesh out the inner pages.
How much input do I have in the design?

You may offer general guidance and any notes you prefer, and we can certainly try to make them happen. However, we may not have an official designer, but we still understand foundational design principles, so we have ultimate final say.
How long will the design take before starting development?

Usually a few days to about a week. Just depends on how busy we are.

What is SEO?

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. If it is not obvious now, it is the process of optimizing your site to have the greatest potential chance of ranking as the first search result in search engines. You can learn more on our Simple SEO page.
Is SEO included?

Yes! all of our sites whether a monthly client or a lump sum purchase have simple on and simple off-page SEO included. We believe this is a vital part of web development, so we will not charge extra like some businesses do.
Is my site guranteed to be top of the search results?

Short answer, no. Long answer, it depends but generally yes. Nothing is guranteed in Google's and other search engine algorithms. However, we certainly provide your website with content that gives it a very solid chance to rank high.
Do you offer more advanced monthly SEO services?

Currently we do not. These more advanced options are press releases, Google business profile setup, ad management, and stuff like that. These can be great, and can give your website that last few percent of performance boost, but we currently only offer on-page SEO and simple optimizations for off-page.
